He is such a fascinating artist. I see two exhibits are on in New York City and hope to get to at least one of not both. I would love to see Able Was I Ere I Saw Elba II in person to get a 3 dimensional sense of this work.
I've always appreciated Rauschenberg's willingness to experiment. Some of his work I like and some of it I don't, but all of it is interesting.
