It looks like my elementary art classroom bulletin board, referred to as the "WOW Board." All the students had to produce a WOW (wonderful original work) every grading period. This is part of the TAB curriculum - Teaching for Artistic Behavior. Students choose their media and create from inception, just like a real artist. I taught them that when there are more than three materials it's called "mixed media." I'm sure there are plenty of people who want to know all the details. :)
That sounds like fun for the students, Jeri. I would also call many of Beshty's works "mixed media," but the artist and gallery listed everything, so I thought i would too. :)
Of course! I only mention it in passing, because it makes me wonder if I told my students correctly. I'm sure a longer list is desirable when viewing the work in person...it could easily cause someone to wonder what in the heck it's made of! :)
